Welcome to APT Korea Incheon 2019 here at Paradise City Casino! We are nearing the end of the twelve-day series. But before that happens, we will be crowning another major APT champion with the second featured tournament – the CHAMPIONSHIPS EVENT – well underway.
The Championships Event kicked off two days ago attracting 188 total entries – 78 at Day 1A and 110 at Day 1B. That number will definitely grow with registration open for one last hour today. Players will be very thrilled to know that the KRW 200M guarantee was completely obliterated. The prize pool is now in the vicinity of KRW 328,000,000 (~USD 270,000). We will have the official prize pool for you as soon as registration closes at 215pm (Korea time).
Over the course of the two starting days, only 104 survived the hunt – 40 at Day 1A and 64 at Day 1B. They return today with Day 1A chip leader China’s Sun Wei Xiong ahead of the pack. In second position is Japan’s Yuki Harata with 244,900. Harata topped Day 1B.
The list is also decorated with several APT major title-holders: Tetsuya Tsuchikawa, Guo Dong, Chen Dong, Hung Sheng Lin, Iori Yogo, Yuki Hirata, and recently crowned APT Main Event champion Tsang Dicky Siu Hang. Full chip counts + seat draw provided below.
