The APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Championships – APT Player of the Series race came down to the final event with two players trying to get that extra edge to secure the title. In the end, Vietnam’s Cao Ngoc Anh won with a total of 1,117.45 points. Cao cashed in a total of 5 events which included a victory at the Championships Event. He was awarded the APT Player of the Series winner’s trophy, the APT Player of the Series ring, a Meister watch, and $800.

2nd place: Norbert Koh
Finishing a close 2nd place was Singapore’s Norbert Koh with 1,013.73 points. He nearly had three events bagged finishing runner up in two events until he landed a victory at the Deep Stack Turbo 2. Koh was awarded the 2nd place APT Player of the Series trophy and $100.

3rd place: Dang Xuan Canh
Earning the 3rd highest number of points was Vietnam’s Dang Xuan Canh with 968.39 points. Canh only cashed in one event but it was the big one, the Main Event. He bested a field 499 entries. He earned another trophy for his shelf, the 3rd place APT POS trophy and $100.
