Running from July 1st to 7th, the Asian Poker Tour and the Poker King Club have tied up once again to bring you another exciting poker festival, this time at a new destination, the Star Vegas Resort & Club in Poipet, Cambodia.

For those new to the area, the venue lies on the border between Cambodia and Thailand. It is the largest and most luxurious casino resort in the area fully equipped with all types of casino games. The venue is only a two-hour drive from the Cambodia Airport in Siem Reap and a three-hour drive from Bangkok, Thailand. The currency of choice is the Thai Baht.
Throughout the week, the APT Southeast Asia 2017 will be offering a solid lineup of events: the highlight tournament is the US$1,100 buy-in APT Main Event with 13 APT signature side events running alongside of buy-ins ranging from US$110-US$440. The High Rollers event offers the largest entry fee of US$2,200.
APT Main Event details
The APT Main Event begins on Monday July 3rd and will run for a total of five days. This is the only event where you can win the coveted solid silver exclusive APT Championship Ring. Buy-in is US$1,100. Here is a breakdown of the schedule:
Day 1A – Monday, July 3rd at 1pm
Day 1B – Tuesday, July 4th at 1pm
Day 2 – Wednesday, July 5th at 1pm
Day 3 – Thursday, July 6th at 1pm
Final 8 – Friday, July 7th at 130pm
Opening Day festivities
Since today is opening day, we will kick off with the NLH Welcome Event. This is a great event to warm up those poker skills and pocket an early profit. The eventual winner will not only own the bragging rights for claiming the first-ever side event trophy of the APT Southeast Asia 2017 but will also be holding the torch in the APT Player of the Series race. Buy-in is US$110. Cards start flying at 1pm.
At sundown, we will be offering a Main Event Mega Satellite for players looking to get into the APT Main Event at a much cheaper cost. Buy-in is US$120 with one seat awarded per ten players. Game time is at 6pm.
Upcoming Side Events
The following days will see staple APT events on the roster such as the Head Hunter event, Ante Up for Charity, a variety of NLH events, Deep Stack Turbos, Tilt King Monster Stack, and even a short-handed event, the 6 Handed Turbo.
In conjunction with all the APT Southeast Asia 2017 festivities, two other celebrations will also be taking place, the Donaco Star Vegas anniversary and the upcoming PKC poker room at the venue.
