The festival kicked off with record-breaking numbers at the Welcome Event 1M Guaranteed. There were 287 entries making it the highest attendance this year for an APT opening event. The big winner was Germany’s Sebastian Benz who claimed the first trophy of the series and P412,600.

The Main Event saw a 169 field comprised mainly of international players. Despite having less locals in the arena, three of them made it into the final table with the title clinched by one of them, Joven Huerto. He scooped up P1,927,000 and the final main event trophy awarded for the year.
