APT Players Party tonight; second title for Iori Yogo; Kim Jung Beom wins NLH Single Day #2

APT Philippines 2019 is on its ninth day at Resorts World Manila. The series began on April 24 and is scheduled to conclude on May 5. Today will see the last starting day of the Championships Event at 1pm. This is the second featured tournament of the series and it comes with a whopping P10 Million guarantee. Buy-in is P82,500. 49 players have already advanced to Day 2. Don’t miss out! It is very likely we will surpass the guarantee.

The Pot Limit Omaha Hi event ran for two days concluding with Japanese pro Iori Yogo raising his second APT golden lion. Yogo joined fellow countryman Junya Kubo in claiming two APT titles at the series. Yogo defeated Korea’s Jae Chang at heads up to pocket the P568,900 first prize.

NLH Single Day Event #2 

The second edition of the NLH Single Day event drew a much larger field than its predecessor with 141 signing up . With a buy-in of P16,500, it created a very healthy prize pool worth P2,051,500 (~USD 39,700). Out of that pot, 24 players claimed a share. The P487,500 top prize went to the last man standing Korea’s Kim Jung Beom. This was Kim’s first-ever APT title.
