The APT Philippines Tournament Area looks all set up and ready to go

Opening Event PHP1.5M Guaranteed

Getting all the action started today is the Opening Event PHP1.5 million Guaranteed. This is one of the most highly attended side events with players looking to ship in that early payout and of course own that first victory of the festival. It is also the only tournament that offers a guarantee because the way we see it, everyone loves a tournament with a guarantee.

To accommodate both the daytime and evening players, there are two starting flights offered on the same day. Here are the details:

Opening Event

Sit N Gos on Demand

Sit N Gos are some of the most enjoyable games as it is fast paced and can get started as soon as the table is full. To fill your poker appetite, the APT Philippines 2017 will have Sit N Gos on Demand with games ranging from PHP5,500-PHP55,000. Sit N Gos will be available daily throughout the festival.

APT Main Event

The APT Main Event is the featured tournament of the series. It is a No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament with a deep stack and slow-paced blinds. This is the most prestigious event at any APT festival, and it is the only event where you can win one of those solid silver APT Championship Rings. Six of these exclusive bands have already been awarded this year with two-time champion Filipino pro Mike Takayama winning his very own at the APT Championships Philippines Main Event back in April.

The APT Main Event gets underway on the weekend, which gives everyone plenty of time to hit the side events before the big one. This also gives all those weekend warriors the chance to hop on over and join the action. The APT Main Event has two starting days and is scheduled to run for five days. Here are the details:
