After months of anticipation, APT Philippines 2010 is now underway at Resorts World Manila!
The week-long poker extravaganza will take place from August 23 to 29 and will feature not only a big main event, but also a variety of different side events for players to choose from.
It will be a star-studded main event as John Juanda and PokerStars Team Asia Pro Bryan Huang have also confirmed their participation to add to a field that already includes the likes of Johnny Chan, J.C. Tran, Nam Le, Quinn Do, David Steicke, Winfred Yu, and defending champ Neil Arce.
There will also be plenty of side events — nine, in fact, including a ladies event, the APT’s very own Greed event, a bounty event, a team battle event, and a Pot-Limit Omaha event.
It will be a busy first day for APT Philippines as the scheduled activities today include the PKR Battle of Teams event, the media event, main event super and mega satellites, the opening party, and the celebrity charity challenge.
The finals of The Poker Circuit’s TPC Motherboard will also take place today, with nine more players from yesterday’s leg at King’s Poker Sports Club in Angeles City coming over to complete the final field of 54.
