In partnership with PokerBaazi.com, we are thrilled to bring you the third installment of APT Online Series India featuring IN₹ 7+ Crores in guarantees. If you are in India then it’s time to suit up. The festival gets rolling today, January 30 and will run nonstop for eight days through February 6. Filling up the roster are 43 tournaments, spiced up by the MAIN EVENT IN₹ 1 Crore guaranteed.
As always, we’ve ensured that every type of bankroll is met. Buy ins range from a very affordable IN₹ 880 (~US$ 11.80) to a hefty IN₹ 55,000 (~US$ 740). All events come with a guaranteed prize pool which means plenty of cash to be won. In addition, nine APT Trophies and two APT Championship Rings are up for grabs.

Opening Day
For the festival’s opening day we come out fully loaded with six tournaments and the first two trophies on the line. The Kickoff event sets the pace and is one not to miss. This edition’s guarantee has been increased to IN₹ 25L, up by IN₹ 5 Lac from previous. The player to keep an eye out for is Vinayak “salmanbhai” Bajaj as there’s a strong chance he will be back to defend his title. Another to watch for is recent WSOPC Online ring winner Aniket “Anteman” Waghmare who placed 3rd.
In the early evening is the featured Sunday Major 35L which has both the most expensive buy in and the highest guarantee of opening day. If previous installments are an indication of what’s to come, then expect a sizable crowd of poker heavyweights heat up the online tables.

Featured Events
After opening day, a minimum of five events light up the daily schedule. Key events to mark down are the Main Event and Championship Event. These are the only events where players can win both the APT Trophy and APT Championship Ring.
MAIN EVENT – IN₹ 1 Crore guaranteed
The most highly revered APT tournament is none other than the Main Event. Aside from its mighty IN₹ 1 Crore guarantee, it offers one of the best structures with slow escalating blinds to allow for plenty of playing time. Past winners were Rajat “happyfish” Mahajan and Subhayan “arjun100” Das.

Championship Event – IN₹ 50 Lac guaranteed
Similar in structure to the main but double the buy in is the Championship Event. Be it live or online, this is another sought after APT tournament, especially by players seeking a combination of higher stakes and smaller fields. The past two winners are well known Indian pros Manish “thekid” Lakhotia and Gaurav “gaug17” Sood. Both players are avid online players and will likely be out there gunning for a repeat.

Players can also capture an APT Trophy at daily featured events listed below. Buy ins range from IN₹ 3,300 (~US$ 44) to IN₹ 55,000 (~US$ 740). The biggest buy in event is the Super High Roller which runs on Friday, February 4. WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav “griezmann” Iyer championed the first edition and Rajat “Lungfakeer” Sharma won the second installment. For PLO enthusiasts, two high roller events are also scheduled.
