APT MAIN EVENT: Day 1B attracts a huge field of 313 entries; Michael Kim Falcon bags overall chip lead

Full house at APT Philippines II 2019! Every table and every seat was taken at Day 1B of the MAIN EVENT – hosted at Resorts World Manila’s new Grand Wing. Many flags were represented. By the end of the scheduled nine levels of play, the tally was a huge 313 entries with 157 of them through to Day 2. Bagging up the top dog stack of 200,200 was Michael Kim Falcon. Falcon will enter Day 2 as the overall chip leader.

 Also piling in a big stack was Xing Yu Ren with 172,000. Xing enters Day 2 running second in command.

Once again there were many APT decorated champions in the field, among them were APT Philippines 2019 defending champion Christopher Mateo and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa (APT Vietnam Main Event 2018). Both players missed the mark in Day 1A but fared better today with chips bagged. Other APT champions making it through were:

Starting days chip counts and Day 2 qualifiers

A total of 219 advancing players will meet on Sunday, September 15 for Day 2. Cards in the air at 1pm. There is still one level left to register, closing at the start of Level 11.
