Day 1 results
It was a hot opening day with six events drawing a total of 4,494 entries and a whopping IN₹ 1,12,17,100 (~US$ 150,120) dished out. Among the champions were five first timers and two players walking away with APT Trophies. Additionally, all the guarantees were surpassed with the largest pot of IN₹ 39,10,000 (~US$ 52,329) seen at the Sunday Major.
APT #1: Kickoff – NISHAANTH “shanni” SHANMUGHASUNDARAM – IN₹ 3,09,070 (~US$ 4,136)
Lighting up the festivities was the Kickoff event where 407 saddled up and 475 re-entered for 882 total entries and a guarantee smashing IN₹ 26,46,000 prize pool. After a three way deal was struck amongst chip leader “thereallokimon”, second ranked Ashish “Notoriouskonvict” Nailwal, and shortest stacked Nishaanth “shanni” Shanmughasundaram, the latter Shanmughasundaram came from behind to claim the bragging rights first title, his first ever APT Trophy, and an APT career high IN₹ 3,09,070 (~US$ 4,136) payout.

After several deep runs at past APT India Online events, Anurag “13anurag” Srivastava finally banked a big one and the second APT Trophy of the day. Srivastava outlasted the 782 entry field of the featured Sunday Major to seize the hefty IN₹ 7,07,710 (~US$ 9,471) first prize, making him the biggest event winner of opening day. At heads up, Srivasta denied Parth “VINAY7690” Aggarwal a second ever APT victory. Despite the loss, Aggarwal still walked away with an APT career high score of IN₹ 4.96 Lakhs.

Malik topped the 570 entry field of the 6-Max Turbo, defeating Pratibh “pratibhsaluja” Saluja after a heads up deal. For his win, Malik earned IN₹ 92,831 (~US$ 1,242).

Emerging triumphant was Maharashtra’s Rafiq “Mrkhan” Khan for his first ever APT win and a cool IN₹ 3,08,911 to his online wallet. Back in August 2021, Khan also ran deep in this same event for a fifth place finish. Among the notable pros that reached the money, Indian pro Abhishek “singhsaab” Goindi took it the farthest of 5th place for IN₹ 77,270.

After a heads up ICM deal with player “abhinavnath”, chip leader Nitin “Gambler42” Rawat went on to victory for his first ever APT win. For his part of the deal Rawat collected the larger IN₹ 1,22,301 (~US$ 1,637) payout.

Day 2 results
Day 2 served up five varied tournaments that amassed 2,740 total entries and a combined prize pool of IN₹ 59,62,000. In the end it was a big moment for all five winners who earned their first ever APT victory. The day’s head honcho was Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta for closing out the Monday Major to capture the third APT Trophy of the series.
APT #9: Monday Major – AMAR “kidpoker0109” MEHTA – IN₹ 3,76,470 (~US$ 5,038)
Amar “kidpoker0109” Mehta emerged the biggest winner of Day 2 after claiming the victory at the featured Monday Major. The event attracted 289 players with 291 re-entries for 580 total entries and a smashing prize pool of IN₹ 23,20,000. The battle for the APT Trophy came down between Mehta and Pavankiran “rootahuamachi” Bellamkonda, both players fairly even in stacks when the ICM deal was struck. Mehta went on to the finish line to win it and earned the larger IN₹ 3,76,470 payout. All in all it was a great day for the champion who also reached the PKO event final table, finishing 8th for IN₹ 31,737.

Out of the 54 places paid, it was Retheesh “shaddy” KR holding his head high for a payout of IN₹ 2,01,000 plus an additional IN₹ 44,580 in bounty rewards. It was shaddy’s first APT victory, defeating Ritesh “KingOfAllSpades” Kumar at heads up. This was Kumar’s second runner up finish having also missed the win at the DST event.
