At the conclusion of both entry flights, it drew a combined 252 entries to easily crush the guarantee for a sweeter VN₫ 1,955,520,000 (~US$ 83,630) prize pool.
Flight A attracted the largest crowd of 134 entries with 24 players powering through. Nguyen Gia Trung aka Daniel Nguyen bagged a mighty 395,500 in chips followed by Tran Thinh with 339,000. Both players were neck and neck until Nguyen surged during the final two hands, shoving his top pair and winning the pot. Both will return as overall chip leaders. Other advancing players were Shardul Parthasarathi, Ashish Munot, Pham Tien Dung, Nguyen Quang Huy, and Son Hoang.

At Flight B, another batch joined the Day 2 list with 25 of the 118 entry field surviving the 15 rounds. Packing up the big one was Nguyen Tuan Tai with 261,500. Notable players also advancing were Nguyen Van Sang, Si Yang Phua, and Rubin Labroo.

The 49 combined flight survivors return on July 13 at 11am where they will race to the money. 26 players are guaranteed a piece of the VN₫ 1,955,520,000 (~US$ 83,630) cash pool with the eventual winner pocketing a sizable VN₫ 288,260,000 (~US$ 12,328). The winner will also claim the bragging rights first ever APT-VSOP trophy and will earn the top spot in the Player of the Series leaderboard.
Once the money round is reached, the mystery bounty rewards kick in. The top reward is a whopping VN₫ 154,400,000 (~US$ 6,600). That’s even higher than the 3rd place payout. Final day will see cards in the air at 11am. The final table will broadcast live on APT YouTube and APT Twitch.
