Malaysia’s Aik Chuan reigns over Day 1B; Late registration remains open

For the past two days, front and center of the APT Philippines 2017 was the featured event – the PHP110,000 buy-in APT Main Event. This is the most prestigious tournament of the APT and it is the only event where you can win that highly exclusive coveted APT Championship Ring.

Just moments ago, Day 1B concluded and steering his way into the chip leader’s seat was none other than Malaysia’s Aik Chuan. Chuan is the APT’s most recent Main Event champion having earned his title at the APT Southeast Asia event in Cambodia earlier in the month. Chuan closed out Day 1B with 174,200 in chips.
