Opening Day at APT Cambodia Sees Rush to Secure APT Player of Year Title

When the doors opened yesterday at the inaugural APT Cambodia, it was clear that there was a highly competitive atmosphere in the tournament area which is likely to heighten even further as the event week progresses. Liam Anderson ranked 1^st in the APT Player of the year awards (POY), was joined at the opening side event of the week by Sam Razavi (ranked 2^nd); Martin Nilsson (3^rd); Marc Rivera (4^th) and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa (5^th).

And at the end of  Day 1 it was Sam Razavi who catapulted himself into the POY lead moving ahead of Anderson, with an impressive performance, gaining an additional 190 points, by taking-down Event 1- ‘Welcome to APT’ and a 2^nd place finish in the Charity event.
