Now if you have read all the previous tips covering learning the basic tournament rules, getting mentally prepared and what tournament you should choose, you will probably be raring to play in your first event. However, you will need to register before you can play. Depending on the venue, registration can be located away from the tournament area and it’s always best to get familiar with its location and give yourself ample time to go through the process before the start of your chosen tournament. We at the APT suggest 90 minutes prior to the start of the event because registration can get very busy with the popular events we offer. Remember to bring a valid ID and enough cash to play the event. This is a one-time process during an APT week which is simple to do and our staff are more than willing to provide any help you need.
