5th Cebu Open Continues Surge; 119 Players in Day 1B, 35 Advance

Day 1A of the 5th Cebu Open set up what was a big start for the APT Asian Series Cebu. Earlier today, Day 1B followed suit with yet another huge turnout at the All In Poker Club at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City Philippines.

Earlier today’s Day 1B of the 5th Cebu Open saw 119 registrants for one of the side events of the newest poker series in Asia, with 35 advancing to the final round set tomorrow starting at 2PM.

The total entrants have reached 230 players making the prize pool climb to PHP 1,150,500 with 27 players set to place in the money. This year’s attendance easily broke the previous record of 169 players in the five-year history of the tournament.

Ronald Andaya came out with most chips in Day 1B
