The day kicks off with the Main Event entering Day 3. 35 players remain each one hunting down the money and a coveted seat to the Final 8. Leading in the pack is Japan’s Koichi Haruta with 451,000 which is a very healthy 112 times the opening big blind.

While the Main Event is up and running, the No Limit Hold’em 1 event will also be resuming. The final eight players hunt down the title. Then at 2pm, the Super High Rollers joins the floor with buy-in at KRW 5,300,000 (~USD 4,400). This will be followed by the Short Deck 1 at 3pm. Buy-in for that event is KRW 440,000 (~USD 365).

The APT Player of the Series race is also in full swing. You can check the standings here. Hong Kong’s Edward Yam Chun Ho has taken the lead with three deep runs so far. Yam is having a great year on the felt. Last month he overtook Park Yu Cheung aka Sparrow as the player with the most cashes in a given year and the year is not nearly over. Additionally, two months ago, Yam won the APT Player of the Series title in Seoul.
