247 Runners Break 1M Guarantee on Opening Day in Cebu

The APT Asian Poker Series Cebu 2015 took flight Tuesday with 247 runners joining the 1M Guaranteed Opening Event to create a prize pool of PHP 1.677 million for the side event in this APT stop.

From two start times, Flight A at 1:00 PM and Flight B at 6:00 PM, a total of 63 survivors remained in the field and will return Wednesday (August 12) at 1:30 PM to battle for the side event title and the PHP 419,600 purse for the champion or at least one of the 27 ITM spots.

APT will donate a part of the collected prize pool in the charity event to the Cebu City Task Force on Street Children, a non-profit organization that provides educational and residential assistance to Cebu City’s street children. Proceeds of the APT charity event will help in the food expenses of the children staying in the center.
