In the seventh day of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Macau 2010, it was Team Malaysia which grabbed the headlines by winning the Battle of the Nations event.
Charles Chua, Daniel Chee and K.C Lee took the team prize of HK# 67,600 for their efforts even as Dave Lo of Holland placed first for HK$ 14,500, Chee at second for HK$ 8,700 and Ken Hartono of Indonesia at third for HK$ 5,725.
Meanwhile, in the APT Macau 2010 Main Event, 18 players remain going into Day 3 set today. Daniel Neison of Australia finished with 254,000 chips to become the chip leader. Completing the top five are Zhang Dan Peng, Sunny Jung, Bjoern Wiesler and Xavier Jacquet-Duval who all had over a hundred thousand chips.
High profile players who fell on the wayside were Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Tommy Le, Winfred Yu, APT Philippines 2010 champion Michael Cua and Macau Poker Cup champion James McCarty.
