Razavi Wins First APT Korea Trophy; Wong Takes Down Charity Event

After an impressive run at the recently concluded Asian Poker Tour Macau 2013 which placed him on top of the 2013 APT Player of the Year standings, Sam Razavi continued his winning ways as he took down the opening event of the Asian Poker Tour Korea 2013. Overcoming a 2:1 chip lead by Jimmy Chun at heads up, Razavi clawed his way up to eventually win his first APT trophy in Korea.

While in the Add On for Charity Event, it was Malaysia’s Kun Kiet Wong was the last man standing. Although doubling up thrice during heads up, Xiaojin Wang. The last hand saw Wong complete a one card flush on the river, beating Wang’s pocket kings, to end the match. The players’ generosity raised a total KRW XX (KRW 1,017,146) which will be donated to the Incorporated Association Bank Nyun Hwai.
