Following the immense success of its previous run, the Asian Poker Tour is proud to announce it is holding a bigger Heads Up tournament to open the APT Asian Series Manila 2011. This time, it will feature a maximum field of 128 so that more players will be given a chance to participate in this much-awaited event.
On top of the larger field, players will definitely be drawn by the slashed buy in from Php 19,600 to only Php 11,000, easily making this the largest and affordable heads up event in the region which is in synch with the APT Asian Series’ goal of providing world-class poker tournaments with lower priced buy ins.
There will be two flights for this event both on August 17th, 2011. Flight A will start at 1pm with a maximum of 64 players while Flight B starts at 3pm. In addition, players that busted out from Flight A can re-enter Flight B if there are still available slots. So for those looking to reserve their seat early, please feel free to Contact Us for more information.
Previously, the APT Asian Heads UP Championship was sold out two weeks before it even started and the Philippines’ Philip Padron outlasted 63 other players in the APT Heads Up Championship last March to take home US$ 9,930.
This is the opening event of the upcoming APT Asian Series Manila 2011 which will run from August 17th to the 23rd at the Resorts World Manila. To view the Event Schedule, Click Here.
