Main Event Final 8 to be determined today! High Rollers event kicks off at 3pm

It’s going to be another exciting day at the APT Finale Macau Championships 2017 with 24 gunners returning to the Main Event arena for Day 3 at the Macau Billionaire Poker in Babylon Casino. High in the priority list is to capture one of the coveted Final 8 berths but first, they must maneuver their way into the money round which starts at 18 places.

At yesterday’s destruction that sent 64 players out of the running, Malaysia’s Michael Soyza emerged as the chip leader with 350,000. He is trailed by Chinese Taipei’s Jack En-Ching Wu by just 1k with 354,000 in chips. Rounding out the top three leaders entering Day 3 is Norway’s Kai Paulsen with 335,500 in chips. To bring you the action wherever you are, we will have live updates throughout the day. Day 3 kicks off at 1pm.

Today’s Events

While the main runs, everyone else can enjoy the games that we have lined up. At 3pm is the High Rollers event with a HKD 43,000 entry fee. This event usually comprises of high ranking pros preferring to go head-to-head against each other for larger stakes. Though the field is expectedly smaller than other side events, it tends to have the largest prize pool. Cards start flying at 3pm.

At 6pm, there will be another APT Championships Mega Satellite. Buy-in is HKD 2,400. One seat will be awarded per 10 players. With the featured tournament making landfall on Wednesday, December 6, this is a great way to score your seat at a lower price. See below for APT Championships Event details.

In addition to the scheduled games, players may also request to start a Sit N Go. Once a quorum is established, it is game time. Sit N Gos are available anytime. Just head to registration and sign up. Buy-ins can range from HKD 1,100 – HKD 22,000.

APT Championships Event

The finale’s next highlight tournament is the APT Championships Event scheduled for December 6 – 10. This is the one of the most prestigious events offered by the APT. It is a No Limit Hold’em tournament with a deep structure and slow escalating blinds. The event will run for a total of five days with two starting days, Day 2, Day 3, and the Final 8. Buy-in is HKD 22,000 with unlimited re-entries until a specified time.

Starting stack: 50,000
Opening blinds: 100 – 200
Level intervals: 60 minutes

For the eventual champion, big prizes await you! In addition to the first place purse, you will also be bringing home the APT Championship Ring – a gorgeous solid silver APT crested band awarded only to featured event victors, the APT Championship Trophy, and an exclusive Meister Watch.
