Tran, good and lucky

Level: 25 Blinds: 12000/24000 Ante: 4000

Frustration on Nam Le is kicking in as Tran continues to rack up the chips. On a board of Q 4 5 K 10 Tran took down a raised pot with just 10 6.

Nam had A something and was visibly frustrated after this hand.

5-bet bluff! Wow!

Level: 25 Blinds: 12000/24000 Ante: 4000

From the button, Sekiya Yosuke opened to 50,000 but saw a re-raise from Khac Tran to 120,000. Yosuke wanted more too: he 3-bet to 148,000 total! However, Tran wouldn’t be denied and 5-bet with an additional 126,000!

Safe to say, this was a HUGE pot.

Yosuke tanked a bit.. then threw away his hand. For good measure, Tran showed his hand: Q 4 (That’s not a typo.)

Even APT CEO Jeff Mann was impressed by this move from Khac Tran saying “A 5-bet bluff. Wow!

Yosuke is now below a million in chips while Tran continues his climb with over 1.7M.

Level: 25 Blinds: 12000/24000 Ante: 4000

Le at UTG raised to 50,000 preflop and saw both button (Khac Tran) and BB (Yosuke) make the call.

Merry go round

Level: 25 Blinds: 12000/24000 Ante: 4000

First Tran Sekiya Yosuke steals the blinds and antes from the button with a standard 50K bet… Second it was Le’s turn, also from the button, to get the SB and BB + antes without challenge. Tran gets the next one with a raise from UTG.

All three big stacks are doing their thing so the small stack, Than Truong should start getting involved or else his going to go down without a fight.

Yosuke’s turn to outplay Le

Level: 25 Blinds: 12000/24000 Ante: 4000

From UTG, Nam Le opened with 48,000 and the buttong and SB folded. BB player Sekiya Yosuke however, announced a re-raise to 124,000. Le tanked and made the call.

Flop: K J 7

Sekiya bet another 100,000 to send Le to the tank once again. Le considered and considered and got two green stacks for 200,000. Sekiya announced a snappy all-in (for around 700,000) and Le folds faster than a speeding bullet.

Sekiya gets some off Le and has now around 1.1M. Le drops to roughly 1.2M.
