Big win for Tso Wei sent Harry Duong’s stack back to earth. The hand saw Daiki Horikawa shove his 39.7k stack from cutoff, button Tso Wei called, sb Duong three-bet to 130k, Tso Wei moved all in for a total of 205,800. Duong called.

The flop came K♥ 8♣ 10♣ giving Duong the lead but with the turn J♦, Tso Wei went back up with a set, the river 2♥ completed the spread for a huge double up to 460k. Duong dropped to 60k and Horikawa was eliminated.
Amidst heavy hitters, David Wai Ho found himself a spot to double up. Action began with chip leader Hwang Seong Il raising from utg to 8400, called by Le Ngoc Khanh, the button player, and Ho. When the flop landed 7♥ 2♥ 4♠, two checks before a bet of 11k was sent out by Le Ngoc. Button folded, Ho shoved his 48.4k stack, Hwang called, Le Ngoc folded.

Battle of the blinds, Low Zi Cheng raised to 7500, bb Quan Nguyen called. At the flop K♦ 2♦ 4♦, Cheng c-bet 11k, Nguyen raised to 55k, Cheng shoved for an additional 49.3k to call, Nguyen folded. Cheng up to 180k.
Hwang Seong Il and Le Ngoc Khanh were the biggest stacks at Table 1 but after the turnout of this hand, Hwang pulled way ahead to an enormous 350k. This puts him at the top of the chip rung.

A local favorite has just been downed, the casualty was Dang Van Hien at the hands of Timothy Goh. Action opened with a raise of 4500 by Cao Ngoc Anh, Goh three-bet to 12k, Dang four-bet 37k, Cao Ngoc folded, Goh shoved and Dang called with slightly less.

Makana Silva raised to 4600, Lee Boon Han called, hijack Cao Ngoc Anh three-bet to 18.5k, Silva called, Lee folded. The flop 9♣ 10♦ 3♣, Silva checked to the aggressor Cao Ngoc who bet 20k. Silva answered with a shove of over 100k (covering Cao Ngoc). Cao Ngoc tank-folded. Silva up to 170k, Cao Ngoc down to 100k.
Kong Seong Su was all in with 6♣ 6♠ and got a caller in Low Zi Cheng A♦ K♦. The board ran 5♦ 6♥ 9♣ 4? 10♣ for a double up to Kong.

Just when he thought he was on the rise, Van Ngoc Binh slipped again. On a full board 9♥ J♥ Q♣ 8♠ 6♣ and 57k pot, Van Ngoc checked, Le Ngoc Khanh bet 35k, Van Ngoc called. Le Ngoc showed Q♠ 9♠ two pair, Van Ngoc mucked. Le Ngoc up to 177k, Van Ngoc down to 39k.
