Paul Hong doubles up through Nguyen Tuan Anh

All in preflop, sb Paul Hong with K 5 and bb Nguyen Tuan Anh with A 8. The board ran 10 K 7 4 4 for two pair to Hong and a double up.


Sick split pot!

In a four-way raised pot preflop, the flop landed 5 9 10. Sb Quang Phung checked, bb Hieu Tran jammed all in for 261k, utg Nguyen Van Canh tank-called, then Cao Ngoc Anh shoved with a stack covering the other players. Action back to Quang who folded while Canh tanked. Canh eventually folded while showing his J J.

Looking like the end for Tran, the turn 10 and river 10 saved him from elimination with a full house for both to split the pot. Had Canh stayed in, he would have shipped in a monstrous double up.

In a battle of the blinds, sb player “20Feb” raised, bb John Paredes shoved, sb snap-call. Sb J J and Paredes with K Q. The board landed K 7 6 5 7 for a second double up to Paredes.


Minh Le with a huge double up through Nguyen Tuan Anh

On a three-way raised pot preflop, the flop came 6 2 J, Nguyen Tuan Anh checked, Minh Le checked, button Kit Kwan Kwok bet. Call – call. On the turn 7, everyone checked. On the 10 river, Nguyen bet 155k, Le shoved, Kit folded, and Nguyen tanked for some time. Nguyen eventually mustered the courage to call and Le opened J J set. Nguyen mucked. Le zoomed to the chip lead with 1.3M. Nguyen still healthy, dropped to 970k. 


Paul Hong doubles up Tran Uy Thanh

Paul Hong has had a rollercoaster of a day. He rose from around 400k starting stack to reach a million, then plummeted in several costly pots. One of them was a double up for Tran Uy Thanh. Tran shoved with A K and Hong called with 2 2 .The board ran K 5 8 7 10.


Duong Nguyen settles for 15th place – VND 91,950,000

Duong Nguyen enjoyed at least four double ups throughout the day to ladder up with his short stack. His run ended though in 15th place in two back-to-back hands. On the first he was all in with 3 3 and Hieu Tran had 8 8. The board ran dry and Tran doubled up. With just a few chips remaining, Nguyen tossed it in and Nguyen Van Canh sent him packing.
