Charly Mouline was dealt his last hand here at the Championships Event. He had 10♦ 10♠ that fell to Cao Ngoc Anh’s A♦ A♠.
John Paredes was seen shoving earlier without finding any customers. He shoved again and this time had a big stack to challenge, Nguyen Tuan Anh.
Paredes A♦ A♠
Nguyen A♣ Q♣
The board ran 9♦ 7♦ 6♦ 8♥ 3♦ for a nut flush to Paredes and a double up.
Tran Son Thach sent it all in with A♣ K♣ and was up against Son Putin’s K♦ K♥. The board landed K♠ 3♠ 5♣ 9♠ J♣ to end Tran’s run in 17th place.
Minh Le moved all in with A♦ Q♥ and got called by Paul Hong with 8♦ 8♥. The board ran 10♦ 5♥ J♣ K♦ K♣ for broadway to award Le a double up.
On a raised pot preflop, the dealer felted 2♥ Q♣ 5♥, Tran Son Thach on the big blind bet 56k, Kit Kwan Kwok on the button raised to 125k, and Tran flat-called. On the 2♠ turn, both checked for a free river 9♥. Tran checked again, Kit bet 170k, and Tran called. Kit showed 10♥ 7♥ flush and Tran slapped down his A♠ A♦ disappointingly.
Catching the action on a full board Q♠ 8♦ K♦ 3♥ 6♥, Cao Ngoc Anh bet 125k onto a beefed up splashy pot and Charly Mouline with the snap-call. Cao opened 3♦ 6♦ two pair and won it with Mouline mucking.
Nguyen Van Canh raised, Cao Ngoc Anh called, Quang Phung three-bet all in for 372k, Nguyen called, and Cao got out of the way.
Nguyen K♦ K♥
Quang A♠ 7♥
The board ran 8♦ 3♠ 2♠ 5♦ A♥ and with a higher pair spiked by Quang on the river, he doubled up to stay in the running.
Is it even a surprise that Duong Nguyen has doubled up once again? His stack keeps dropping but then a double up boosts him up every time. Now on his fourth double up, he was all in with K♥ K♦ and got paid by Charly Mouline with A♥ J♥ that didn’t improve.
On a board K♥ 9♣ 4♥ K♣ and a sizable pot pre-brewed, big blind Cao Ngoc Anh bet 80k then called a raise by button Nguyen Van Canh of 160k. On the river 10♣, it was checked down, Cao showed 2♠ 2♣ that wasn’t strong enough against Nguyen’s J♦ 4♦ pair.
