When the river came 4♣, Choi checked again, Yoshioka all in with his fairly heavy stack, Choi with the instant call. Yoshioka opened 9♠ 9♥ overpair which was way behind Choi’s 7♦ 8♦ nuts straight. Yoshioka busted, Choi zoomed to 360k.

Action began mp player Alan King Lun Lau bumping it up to 4500, cutoff Seok three-bet to 12.5k, bb Chauve four-bet to 22k, Lau folded, Seok called.
At the flop 7♠ J♥ 3♣, Chauve check-called 20k. On the turn Chauve checked again, Seok jammed, snap called by Chauve.

We’ve been parked at Table 2 trying to get a hand on one of the chip leaders, Jiang Yong Bo. It was hard to come by but we finally got a small one. Utg Hari Varma raised to 3500, bb Bo called to see the flop 6♣ 4♠ 3♦. Bo checked, Varma c-bet 5500, Bo raised to 15.5k, Varma folded. Bo at 250k.
Heated hand between bb Terry Nguyen and utg+2 Zinmo Kim. On a three-bet raised pot preflop the cards ran A♦ 9♠ 3♠. Nguyen led for 6500, Kim raised to 18.5k, Nguyen called. On the 10♥ turn, no bets, and the river came 6♠. Nguyen jammed, Kim tanked. Time was called, Kim found the guts to call for his tournament life.
Nguyen showed K♠ K♥ and said good call when he saw Kim’s A♠ K♣ top pair. Kim doubled up to 120k, Nguyen plummeted to 3800 then busted out two hands later.
