We just got to the table with one player all in and Nguyen Thi Bao An tanking for some time. The board was K-J-4-Q. Nguyen eventually called and it was a good bet. She had Q-J two pair ahead of her opponent’s A-K. The river was blank and she happily shipped it to climb to 350k.
Akshay Nasa sent two players to their doom in back to back hands. The first one was Johannes Hoeld who opened to 8k, called by nasa on the big blind. At the flop J♥ 8♥ 7♣, Nasa checked, Hoeld fired 7500, Nasa raised to 15.5k, Hoeld called. On the turn 8♣, Nasa led for 13k, Hoeld all in for 56k, called by Nasa. Hoeld K♣ 9♣, Nasa J? 10?, the river was blank and Hoeld busted.
Next bust Nasa dominated with A-K against a player’s A-Q. No help on the board and he shipped it. Nasa at 460k.
Piet Pape was all in with A-3 and needed to get lucky against Charles Lesmana’s J-J. The board didn’t grant it to end his run. Lesmana up to 205k.
From the button, Sofia Lovgren raised to 10k and big blind Jiang Yong Bo defended. When the flop ran 9♦ 7♣ 6♥, heavy betting followed. Bo checked, Lovgren c-bet 10k, Bo raised to 30k, Lovgren three-bet to 60k, Bo shoved, and a quick call from Lovgren.
Bo 7♠ 7♥ set
Lovgren 8♥ 5♣ straight
The turn A♥ and river K♠ were not the outs Bo needed to send him to the rail. Lovgren shipped it an catapulted to 450k.
From utg+1 Oliver Buquiran shoved his stack of around 50k with K-K and down the orbit, big stacked Choi Eng called with 8-9 diamonds. The board ran 7-5-5-A-6 for a straight on the river for Choi. Buquiran eliminated, Choi up to 385k.
It seems every time we report on Hwang Seong Il he is taking down players. However this time, it wasn’t the case. In a three-way limped pot the flop was 8♥ 5♣ 2♦. Sb Hwang and bb player checked, cutoff Cheli Lin bet 8k, only Hwang continued. On the turn Q♣, Hwang check-called a 20k bet. Then on the river A♣, Hwang opted to check-fold to a 28k bet.
David Erquiaga all in with A♠ J♣, Sofia Lovgren called with A♦ Q♦, the board ran Q♥ 10♣ 2♦ 2♥ 4♠. Out went Erquiaga, Lovgren shipped it. She is now at 230k.
Mp player Taeho Lee raised to 9k and button jaesh Balachandran called. The flop 9♣ 5♥ 10♥ saw Lee check-call 28k. Lee also check-called a 48k bet on the turn 4♠. Then on the river K♠, Lee led for 50k, Balachandran folded. Lee up to 415k.
