Vu Hoai Lam slowly recovering

After losing a big chunk of his stack to Mudgal, Vu Hoai Lam won a pile of chips in this hand to help him in his recovery stage. Utg Hieu Ngo raised to 8k and found five callers to join him to the flop A 4 Q. No one bet and the same on the turn J. On the river 9, bb Lam sent out 25k, everyone folded. He now sits with 140k.


Back to back wins sends Dhaval Mudgal to 580k

Walking over to check on table 5 and Dhaval Mudgal seems to have amassed around 580k. We missed the action so he kindly provided us with the story. It happened in back to back hands. First one was A-A double up through Vu Hoai Lam’s A-K. The next hand Huynh Tan Dung jammed with 9-9, Mudgal with J-J.

As told by the winner, the hand kicked off with utg Fu Bang Huang raising to 7k, u+1 Kim called, bb Chinh called. On the flop 4-6-K, all checked. At the jack turn, bb Chinh bet 10k, Huang called, Kim raised to 34k, Chinh called, Huang folded. On the queen river, Chinh bet 50k, Kim shoved, Chinh called. Kim K-K set, Chinh 10-9 straight. Chinh up to 430k.


Ray Chiu gets some off Dao Minh Phu

From u+t, Ray Chiu raised to 6.5k and found two callers in the blinds. At the flop A 3 8, action was checked to Chiu who c-bet 5k, sb Dao Minh Phu raised to 13.5k, bb folded, Chiu called. On the turn K, Chiu called a 14k bet by Dao then no bets on the Q river. Dao had J 8, Chiu won it with A 5 top pair. Chiu up to 215k, Dao at 310k.


Go Mori scoops it up

Three way raised pot to 22.5k and the flop came 10 5 A. Utg David Luong checked, mp Vincent Chauve bet 8k, Go Mori called, Luong folded. Both checked on the turn 6. The river 3, Chauve check-folded to Mori’s 7k bet. Mori up to 200k, Chauve at 385k.
