Andy Quan Ho has been quite active at his table, winning several small pots during the first two levels. This time he took a bit more when he entered a pot with two other players, one of whom was Peter Janghwan Kiem. With the pot now at 1725, the players watched the board land 8♥ 4♠ 2♦. Ho checked, Kiem bet 825, one player folded, ad Ho called. At the turn of 9♠, both Ho and Kiem opted to check. But on the river of 2♠, Ho led out for 1400 sending Kiem tanking. Kiem eventually paid to see Ho’s cards, and mucked when he saw Ho’s A♦ J♠. High card was good enough.
