Po Cheng Yang (standing) will not be joining at tomorrow’s official final 8 race to the crown. Po was eliminated in 9th place by the chip leader Ho Bao Qiang. The hand began with Jinho Hong raising to 51k, Po three-bet shoved (195k), Qiang four-bet to 400k, everyone folded.

The board ran 4 7 9 J 6. Qiang shipped it, Po shipped out to collect his TWD 203,100 in winnings.


Wilson Lim doubles up through Lee Shao Hung

Level: 24 Blinds: 10K-20K Ante: 20K

Short stacked Wilson Lim shoved on the button holding A 9, bb Lee Shao Hung called with A 2. The board ran Q 10 7 K 3 for a double up to Lim to 264k. Lee dropped to 300k.


Lee Shao Hung doubles up

 Second hand of the final 9 table and Lee Shao Hung doubled up through Shih Wei En. Lee shoved with 3 3 and avoided the overcards A K on a board 8 10 10 Q 7. He is now up to 382k. Shih slipped to 1,155,000.

Hsieh Chi Han sent his remaining short stack out front with K 8 to battle with however, he ran into Shih Wei En’s A A. The board didn’t offer any help to Hsieh to bust in 10th place. He earned TWD 169,200 for his deep run.


Chia Yun Wu doubles up through Lee Shao Hung

Level: 24 Blinds: 10K-20K Ante: 20K

Chia Yun Wu all in with A K, Lee Shao Hung tried to eliminate with A Q. The board ran 6 3 A 8 J for a double up to Chia to 778k. Lee dropped to 237k.


Kevin Choi Yun Lam eliminated in 11th place – TWD 141,000 (~USD 4,600)

Level: 24 Blinds: 10K-20K Ante: 20K

After a couple of uncalled shoves, Kevin Choi was finally challenged by initial raiser Shih Wei En. Choi had A J, Shih A Q, the board ran K Q 6 K 4. Choi took 11th place for TWD 141,000.


Roman Shcherbakov doubles up through He Zong Chi

Level: 23 Blinds: 8K-16K Ante: 16K

From big blind, Roman Shcherbakov called button He Zong Chi’s 35k raise and saw a flop land K K 4. Both checked and the turn dropped 6. Shcherbakov checked, He bet 40k, Shcherbakov all in for 153k, He called.
