On the turn Q♦, Lee shoved his big stack, this is when Kai tanked and timed out. Lee won the pot to rise to 360k. Kai down to 77k.
A few hands after, Kai busted to Guo Dong pushing with J♠ 9♠, called by A♦ 2♦, the board 10♦ 8♠ 10♥ 2♣ 3♦. Guo up to 385k.
Shih Wei En continued his ascent and is now sitting with a monster 700k stack. The first pot saw 85k built up and more added on the turn 7♣ J♥ 7♦ 4♦. From utg, Shih bet 38k, Chia Yun Wu called. On the river 10♣, both checked. Shih showed A♣ J♠, Chia mucked, Shih shipped it.
Next hand, Shih sent out short stacked Chen Kuan Yu who pushed on the bb with 4-5 offsuit that didn’t improve on the board K-Q-8-9-10 to Shih’s K-J that became a straight.
Lee Hwany and Ho Bao Qiang met in back-to-back hands. First saw utg Qiang raise to 13k, Lee three-bet to 46k, Qiang folded.
Next hand, Lee raised to 12k, Qiang called from bb. At the flop A♦ 8♣ K♥, Qiang check-called a 37k c-bet. On the turn 8♥, Qiang bet 48k, Lee folded. Qiang up to 536k.
After losing a costly pot to Lee Hwany on an earlier hand, Chan Lok Ming’s stack plummeted to 8 bbs. It further dropped to 5 bbs. He pushed and got called by Deng Deng Kai. Chan had A♦ Q♥, Kai with K♣ 6♣, the board ran clean for a double up to Chan to 67k, Kai down to 90k.
