Shyh Chyn Lim and Graeme Siow eliminated

Shyh Chyn Lim fell to Roman Shcherbakov with A-9 unable to improve against Q-Q. At a separate table, Graeme Siow fell to Kristof Segers with A-9 losing the draw against K-J with a jack showing up on the flop and holding.

Lee Hwany rising, times out Deng Deng Kai

Lee Hwany continues to be very active. He picked up a pot against Deng Deng Kai who was timed out despite using his last two time banks. Action saw Kai raise from mid-position to 14k, bb Lee raised to 43k, Kai called. On the flop 9 Q 2, Lee c-bet 32k, Kai called. On the turn Q, Lee shoved his big stack, this is when Kai tanked and timed out. Lee won the pot to rise to 360k. Kai down to 77k.

A few hands after, Kai busted to Guo Dong pushing with J 9, called by A 2, the board 10 8 10 2 3. Guo up to 385k.


Shih Wei En crushing, rises to 700k

Shih Wei En continued his ascent and is now sitting with a monster 700k stack. The first pot saw 85k built up and more added on the turn 7 J 7 4. From utg, Shih bet 38k, Chia Yun Wu called. On the river 10, both checked. Shih showed A J, Chia mucked, Shih shipped it.

Next hand, Shih sent out short stacked Chen Kuan Yu who pushed on the bb with 4-5 offsuit that didn’t improve on the board K-Q-8-9-10 to Shih’s K-J that became a straight.


Lee Hwany vs Ho Bao Qiang

Lee Hwany and Ho Bao Qiang met in back-to-back hands. First saw utg Qiang raise to 13k, Lee three-bet to 46k, Qiang folded.

Next hand, Lee raised to 12k, Qiang called from bb. At the flop A 8 K, Qiang check-called a 37k c-bet. On the turn 8, Qiang bet 48k, Lee folded. Qiang up to 536k.


Chan Lok Ming with a needed boost

After losing a costly pot to Lee Hwany on an earlier hand, Chan Lok Ming’s stack plummeted to 8 bbs. It further dropped to 5 bbs. He pushed and got called by Deng Deng Kai. Chan had A Q, Kai with K 6, the board ran clean for a double up to Chan to 67k, Kai down to 90k.

Short stacks battle: En Hao Chan busts to Hui Wai Kwok

It was all preflop for two short stacks. Hui Wai Kwok with K J, En Hao Chan with A Q, the board ran K 8 9 9 10 for two pair to Hui and the pot. Chan busted.


Jinho Hong doubles up another; Shih Wei En takes the lead

Shih Wei En is the new chip leader after getting maximum pay from chip leader Jinho Hong. Shih completed a straight with his Q 10 to defeat Hong’s A Q. Hong dropped to 330k, which is still well over average stack; Shih zoomed to 515k.


Ma Chun Yu tanks Hwang Sang Yeon

Level: 18 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 5000

Catching the action on a full board 3 6 4 J 9 and 64k in the middle, Ma Chun Yu went all in for 52.5k, Hwang Sang Yeon tanked using one time bank. Hwang folded. Ma took it down.
