Catching the action only on a turn board 2 3 8 7 and 370k in the pot, bb Kevin Choi bet 220k, Jinho Hong called. On the river 10, Choi checked, Hong shoved, Choi folded. Hong showed 5 4 bluff. Choi down to 190k, Hong up to 1.37M.


Tetsuya Tsuchikawa out in 12th place – TWD 141,000 (~USD 4,600)

The last remaining APT champion was just sent packing up in 12th place. After getting chunked to 196k, Tetsuya Tsuchikawa went on a rush, shoving three times without a call. He entered another pot and won it to bring his stack up to 345k, however, two hands after, he was eliminated.

Raised pot preflop saw a board 6 10 A, Chow Cliff was all in with J 10 but Lee Shao Hung had better A K. The turn 3 and river 5 sealed the win for Lee and the defending champion fell in 14th place. Cliff earned TWD 117,500.

Kenichi Takarabe risked his remaining short stack with K-Q but couldn’t get past He Zong Chi’s A J to fall in 15th place. Takarabe earned TWD 117,500 for his finish.


Ho Bao Qiang up to 1.4M, Shcherbakov down to 440k

Ho Bao Qiang earned a sizable pot against Roman Shcherbakov. From the button, Qiang raised to 28k, sb Shcherbakov called. On the flop, turn, and river, 2 7 4 4, Shcherbakov triple barreled 17k, 30k, and 50k, each time called by Qiang. Shcherbakov showed A, Qiang took the pot with K 7 two pair. Qiang up to 1.4m, Shcherbakov slipped to 440k.

After getting crippled on an earlier hand, Craig Edwards was all in on the button with A A, bb Ho Bao Qiang called with J J. The board spread 10 6 9 2 K for a flush to Qiang and 16th place for Edwards. He earned a payout of TWD 97,900 for his efforts.


Chow Cliff doubles up then gets chunked to 10 bbs

In two separate hands, Chow Cliff seesawed. Sb Craig Edwards all in with A 2, Cliff called with (9d} 9, the board ran 6 3 8 3 9 for a full house double up to Cliff.

One orbit later, Cliff was back on the big blind. He defended a button raise by Chia Yun Wu and saw the flop come 6 9 Q. It was all in by both players, Cliff with J 10 draw, Chia with A A, the turn 4 and river 7 didn’t help Cliff. He dropped to 120k while Chia rose to 448k.
