Raised pot preflop saw the cards land A Q 7. Both players checked. On the turn 2, bb Seongsu Kong bet 55k, utg Peng jammed, Kong tank-called.

The river 2 ended the hand for a double up to Kong to 290k. Peng dipped to 635k.


Tommy Goh sends Chien Fa Chou out in two hands

Tommy Goh and Chien Fa Chou got involved in two pots that sent the latter out of the running. On the first hand, the pot was raised preflop and the board came K K Q. Sb Chien checked, Goh c-bet 17k, called by Chien. On the turn 8 and river 2, Goh bet 40k and 100k, both check-called by Chien. Goh opened K Q quads, Chien mucked and was down to 140k. Goh up to 460k.

Several hands later, Goh lost 180k after doubling up Seung Yeol Kim when his Q J was unable to improve against 10 10. However, Goh made up the lost chips by ending Chien’s day. Chien three-bet shoved with K 2 and Goh called with J 6. The board ran J 5 8 10 Q for a winning flush to Goh.

Eric Tsai doubles up two players

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

Eric Tsai was the banker in two separate hands paying out a double up to Craig Edwards and Sheng Chien Cheng. Against Edwards, it was A K staying ahead of A Q. Against Cheng, Tsai had K 9 but Cheng’s K 7 connected on the board kh} 6 4 7 5 for a winning two pair. Tsai down to 230k.


David Tai Hsing Hsiung doubles up

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

Short stacks all in, Sheng Chien Cheng K Q against David Tai A 4. The board ran 4 7 4 8 A for a double up to Tai to 200k. Cheng down to 21k.


Yi Wei Peng’s boat paid by David Tai

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 800

With around 160k in the pot, the board was 8 7 3 8 7, Yi Wei Peng had 128k out front, David Tai Hsing Hsiung tank-called. Peng opened A 7 full house and wont the pot. Tai mucked while saying he had a flush on the flop. Peng up to 770k, Tai down to 156k.


Craig Edwards doubles up to 140k

After paying a double up on a previous hand, Craig Edwards earned one to boost his short stack to 140k. He was all in with 10 10 called by Eric Tsai with 5 5. The board ran clean.


Double ups: Sheng-Chien Cheng and Chien Fa Chou

A couple of double ups just took place at separate tables.

Sheng-Chein Cheng with 7 7, Craig Edwards A 2, the board ran dry. Double up for Cheng to 260k.

Chien Fa Chou all in with A Q, Tommy Goh 6 6, the board ran 9 J Q Q K. Double up to 355k for Chien. Goh down to 455k.


En Ching Wu rails Lim Chee Seng

The first elimination of Day 3 has been dealt. Lim Chee Seng all in with 3 3 called by En Ching Wu with 4 4. The board ran empty for Lim, he busted. Wu up to 370k.


Huang Yi Qing earns a big pot off Chen An Lin

Level: 17 Blinds: 4000-8000 Ante: 8000

Chen An Lin opened for 16k, Huang Yi Qing three-bet to 48k, Lin called. On the flop 9 8 J, no bets. On the 10 turn Lin bet and was called. On the river 5, Lin fired 65k, Qing called and won with A Q straight over Lin’s 6 6. Qing up to 740k, Lin down to 250k.
