Over an hour of bubble round action has finally completed with Chich I-Fang falling hard to Chi Jen Chu. Chich was just enjoying a sweet rush to bring his stack over average when he ran into a flip that didn’t go his way. Utg+1 Chin Wei Khong limped, Chich three-bet to 37k, sb Chu four-bet to 200k, Chich was all in. No other callers.

Hamish Crawshaw pushed his big stack and Ho Chung Yi risked his short stack. Crawshaw had A♣ 3♦, Yi A♦ Q♠, the board ran 5♠ 5♣ J♠ Q♣ K♥ for a double up to Yi to 123k.
After getting lucky, Chich I-Fang won two more pots to bring his stack fro 95k to 200k. Both were against Chin Wei Khong. First hand, Chich riased to 10.5k from utg, bb Khong defended. Fang bet 9k at the flop 2♠ 9♣ 9♥, Khong check-called. On the turn 7♣, no bets. The river Q♥, Khong led for 15k, Chich called. Khong showed 2♣ 5♦ bottom pair, Chich won it with J♦ J♣ higher two pair.
Next win Khong raised to 10.5k from utg, Chich called from +1. Both checked the flop A♣ K♥ 4♠. Khong bet 9k on the turn 6♣, Chich raised to 25k, called by Khong. The river Q♥, Khong check-called a 25k bet. Chich showed A♦ Q♠, Khong mucked. Khong down to 280k.
Chich I-Fang was all in with A♠ 5♥ and looked to be headed to the rail as the bubble boy with Chi Jen Chu calling with A♦ K♣. However, it was not to be. The board favored him as it ran 7♣ 5♣ Q♥ 10♣ 8♥. Players couldn’t believe the numerous outs Chu had on the turn didn’t still didn’t materialize. Chich up to 95k.
Chin Wei Khong picked up two pots to bring him to 400k. The first one was a small pot off Hsien Hua Chin just before the break. The second pot was much larger off Chi Jen Chu. From the button, Khong raised to 10.5k, bb Chu defended. At the flop 8♠ 7♦ 3♠, both checked. On the turn 9♠, Chu took a stab with 25k, called by Khong. The river Q♠ made it four spades on the board. Chu bet 20k, Khong called. At the showdown, neither had a spade. Chu had 8♣ 8♥ set, Khong with J♦ 10♥ straight. Chu dropped to 270k.

Chi Jen Chu has just climbed back into one of the top spots after claiming another pot off Yi Wei Peng. The hand saw 40k in the pot and a board 6♥ J♥ 9♦ J♣. Big blind Chu checked, utg Peng bet 15.5k, Chu raised to 40k, Peng called. On the river 5♣, Chu bet 50k, Peng folded. Chu now at 409k, Peng down to 218k.
