David Tai Hsing Hsiung and Chieh Pao Lin tangled for a raised pot that saw a flop 10 6 J. Bb Lin check-called a 3k bet by mp Tai. On the turn 6, both checked. Then on the river 5, Lin slid out 6800, Tai tank called. Lin showed a missed 9 7, Tai won it with A K ace high.


Collin Ho ships it, rises to 70k

Level: 13 Blinds: 800-1600 Ante: 1600

Getting to the table only at the end with David Soin packing up and Collin Ho shipping it. From what we caught, the board was 7-J-Q-10-8, Ho had A-K straight.


Sim Jian Horng claims a good pot

Level: 12 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 1200

Utg Sim Jian Horng raised to 2500, got called by the blinds. At the flop 2 K 8, blinds checked, Horng c-bet 2100, sb folded, bb Huang Hsu raised to 6k, Horng called. On the turn K, no bets. The river 2, Hsu led for 9k, Horng raised to 31k, Hsu folded. Horng up to 160k.


Chieh Pao Lin vs Chee Kar Wee

Level: 12 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 1200

A pot of 16.7k was already brewed when the dealer spread the flop 6 3 Q. Cutoff Chee Kar Wee bet 13k, sb Chieh Pao Lin check-raised to 21.8k, Wee called. No bets fired on the A turn and the river came Q. Lin led out 8800, Wee tank-folded using one time bank.


Chen Kuan Han doubles up through Jian Jun Long

Level: 12 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 1200

17k was in the pot and a full board of 8 5 Q 3 K. Big blind positioned Chen Kuan Han shoved his 21.2k stack, button Jian Jun Long tank-called. Han banked it with K 10 top pair to Jian’s A 5 pair.


Double knockout! Fan Jhih Wei ships it

Level: 12 Blinds: 600-1200 Ante: 1200

Five players went to see a flop land Q 2 5. Pot was at 14k. Action was checked to the hijack Kuo Chun Liang who jammed his 29.8k stack. Button Fan Jhih Wei tanked then shoved. Sb He Zong Chi also joined, and with the other two players folding, it was a three-way.

When the turn landed A and river 9, it was a runner-runner flush for Wei to scoop it all up and rise to 100k.


Yi Wei Peng rails a couple

Yi Wei Peng is up to 50k after railing two players. Unfortunately we missed the first one but several hands later, we did catch him take down Chou Shih Kun. It was all in preflop, Kun pushed on the button with A 5, sb Peng called with A 9, the board ran 6 2 A 10 8.


Chi Jen Chu widens lead, rails Makoto Noguchi

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

Chip leader Chi Jen Chu shipped in all of Makoto Noguchi’s chips. On a flop A 4 J, it was all in. Noguchi with A K top pair, Chu with K J draw. The flush was immediately granted with the turn 5. The river 2 completed the board. Chu nearing 200k. 


Sim Jian Horng with a big stack

After one level of play, seems Sim Jian Horng has risen quite a bit. He started the day with 30k and now sits with around 160k. Chi Jen Chu (Day 2 entering chip leader) continues to lead with 180k.
