Utg+1 player Lim Yohwan raised to 11.5k and found two callers to the flop, Lee Kun Han and bb Andy Chan. The board was 10♠ 10♥ 3♣, Yohwan bet 112k, Lee raised to 24k, Chan folded, and Yohwan opted to do the same. Lee wins it and climbs to 260k.
Action folded around the orbit to the blinds, sb Ho Man Tsun raised to 17k and bb Luke Martinelli called. On the flop 4♦ 2♠ 7♣, Tsun led for 10k, Martinelli answered with a 28k raise, Tsun called. On the A♥ turn, Tsun checked then folded to Martinelli’s 33k bet. Martinelli at around 210k.
Wei Yong Chin all in with 10♠ 10♦ but Alan King Lun Lau had better J♠ J♣. The board offered no help to Chin to send him out of the running. Lau up to 325K.
Jacky Wong got involved in two back-to-back pots but wasn’t able to trake it in. The first pot, he raised to 9k only to fold to James Jagger’s 73k jam. The next hand, Wong raised again to 9k, bb Yi Wei Peng called. At the flop 7♥ 6♣ 3♦, both checked. On the 3♠ turn, Peng led for 16k, Wong folded. Wong down to 95k.
Huge bust out at table 17 with Russell Thomas booting out Haoxiang Wang. We caught the action on a turn board 5♥ 10♦ 4♣ Q♥, both players were all in with 170k already weighing down the middle. Thomas with 4♠ 4♦ set, Wang with K♣ K♠. The river was 10♣. Thomas shipped it all and is now over 450k.
Frpm utg+1, Lee Kun Han raised to 8k and down the orbit, SJ Kim called from the big blind. At the flop 4♣ K♠ A♥, Kim checked, Lee c-bet 11k, called by Kim. On the K♥ turn, both checked. On the river 8♦, Kim led for 28k, Lee tanked until the clock was called. He called with A♠ 10♦ but it wasn’t good enough against Kim’s K♣ 8♠ full house. Kim climbs to 255k.
The day’s entering third largest stack was Ho Man Tsun. We weren’t able to get any hands from him yesterday so we parked by his to try to get an early one. We got lucky. Tsun raised to 9k and found one caller in the Sung Hwan Andy Lim. At the flop 8♦ 5♠ 5♥, Lim checked, Tsun c-bet 9k, and won it with Lim folding.
Not all were busts, Ying Xin shipped a double up. She was all in with 2♣ 2♠ and that small pair managed to survive against Tau Wei Te’s A♠ Q♦ with the board running dry for him. Ying now at 150k.
We’ve already had 9 players drop out within the first 15 minutes of Day 3. Among them were Wenling Gao, Lau Heng Seng “Bommber”, Wang Chun Hua.
-Wenling Gao all in on the first hand of the day, she had A♦ K♠, Cliff Chow with A♣ 10♣. Despite having Chow dominated the board ran K♦ Q♣ 5♣ 9♠ K♣ for the nut flush to Chow.
– Bomber was all in with A♥ Q♣, Chen Hao had him with A♣ K♣. The board ran low to send Bomber out of the running.
-Wang Chun Hua fell the Andy Chan. It was another flip. Hua with Q♣ Q♠, Chan with A♠ K♦, an ace graced the board and that was it for Hua.
