Chen Dong defended his big blind from button raise of 80k by Jay Tan. The flop J J A they checked it. On the turn 2, Chen checked, Tan bet 90k, Chen raised to 300k, Tan folded. Chen now at 2.8M.


Matthieu Lamagnere and Alex Lindop meet again

Level: 23 Blinds: 15K-30k Ante: 30K

Following a raised pot preflop, the cards felted J 4 7. Lindop checked. Matthieu Lamangere bet 90k, called by Lindop. On the A turn, same action with Lindop check-calling a 240k bet. The river 2 brought on more chips to the pot with Matthieu sending out 360k, Lindop tanked then found the courage to check-call. Matthieu won it with A J, Lindop mucked.

Lindop drops to 1.27m, Matthieu up to 3.7M.


Matthieu Lamagnere takes the lead

Level: 23 Blinds: 15K-30k Ante: 30K

On a flop 9 9 2 and a raised pot pre-brewed, Matthieu Lamagnere bet 65k, was called by Alex Lindop. On the 8 turn, Matthieu checked, Lindop bet 75k, Matthieu called. On the river Q, same action with Lindop firing 515k and Matthieu with the call. Matthieu won the pot with A 9 over Lindop’s 10 9.

Lindop dropped to 2.645M and Matthieu rose to just over 3M. Matthieu is the new chip leader.


Jack Hu doubles up

Jack Hu shoved his stack of 540k and down the orbit Jay Tan asked for the count then called. Hu had A K, Tan J J, the board was very generous to Hu as it spread 7 2 K A Q. He doubled up to over 1.1M. Tan dropped to around 1.3m.


En Hao Chan doubles up

Level: 23 Blinds: 15K-30k Ante: 30K

En Hao Chan has been sitting with a short stack for sometime and got it all in several hands in at the unofficial final table. He had K Q and was called by Lamagnere Matthieu with A 2. The board ran 4 J 7 Q J for a double up to Chan to 300k.


Chan Kian Bing busts in 11th place – TWD 213,800

Level: 23 Blinds: 15K-30k Ante: 30K

All in preflop, Chan Kian Bing with K Q, Matthieu Lamagnere called with A Q, the board ran Q 2 J 10 5. Bing railed in 11th place. He earned TWD 213,800 for his run.

Wei Cheng Yin doubles up through the leader

With 370k already brewed, the board was 6 J Q 10. Wei Cheng Yin shoved with 288k sending Alex Lindop tanking. Lindop called and showed K 7 while Yin had A Q top pair. The river 5 was not one of Lindop’s outs. Yin doubled up.


Marc Rivera falls in 12th place – TWD 213,800

Level: 22 Blinds: 12K-24K Ante: 24K

Marc Rivera jammed his stack from cutoff with 5 7 but was denied stealing the blinds and ante when Yun Sheng Sun called with 9? 9?. The board offered no help whatsoever to Rivera as it ran J 4 Q Q K. He fell in 12th place and earned TWD 213,800.

On a raised pot preflop, three players saw flop 6 8 A. Jack Hu bet 80k, Phachara Wongwichit called, Wei Cheng Yin folded. On the turn A, Hu checked, Wongwichit bet 103k, no call. He showed A.
