Dao Minh Phu and Lakshpal Singh got involved in a hand that saw the pot grow to 56k. On a board 2♦ 8♥ 5♣ Q♠, Phu fired 24k, and Singh folded. Phu showed Singh one card to let him know he wasn’t bluffing. After the hand, Phu told Singh “I don’t bluff. Believe me not him (points towards a fellow Vietnamese player), he is my competition. You believe me. Not him.” Singh responded while laughing “yes, I believe you that’s why I fold to you.”
Ankit Jajodia scored himself another pot to send his stack soaring to around 900k. This put him head to head for the chip lead with Dao Minh Phu. During the hand, utg player raised to 10k, Jajodia called from the button. At the flop A♠ 2♠ 9♠, utg c-bet 10k, Jajodia flat-called. Lakshpal Singh rails Tran Van Thinh to chip up to 170k. It was all in at the flop A♦ K♥ Q♦ with Tran ahead A♠ 3♥ of Singh’s J♥ J♠. The turn 7♥ was good for Tran but when the river spiked 10♠, it was a straight for Singh and the exit for Tran.

The board ran clean 3♠ 4♦ 3♥ J♥ 7♠ for a double up to Huy to 164k, Ming dropped to 160k.
Catching the action on the river betting, chip leader Dao Minh Phu laid out 40k, about half pot on a board of J♠ 3♦ 2♥ 8♣ 4♠. Dang Duy Thanh called it. Phu showed his A♥ 5♥ straight to take down the pot.
