Vamerdino Magsakay was all in with 8 8 and Nguyen Duy Thuc challenged with 6 6, the board ran a doozy 8 6 4 2 5 to award both players a set. With a the higher spread, Magsakay shipped it to climb to 1.020M.

Nguyen dropped to 170k. Nguyen won his next shove with pocket Aces dominating Pham Duy Anh’s pocket Jacks to double up to 370k.


Slade Fisher falls in 24th place – VND 69,300,000

New Zealand’s Slade Fisher doubled up two short stacks, Do Huu Phuong with K-9 staying ahead of Q-8 and Le Duy Anh with Ace-Queen ahead of Ace-Ten. On his next all in, Fisher was the one in danger. On a board 5 10 3 J 8, Fisher had K K but Nguyen Van Sang was still out front with 3 8 two pair. Fisher exited in 24th to collect VND 69,300,000.

Nguyen Van Sang chipped up to 800k.


Ankit Jajodia vs Dao Minh Phu

At some point Ankit Jajodia and Dao Minh Phu were bound to tangle for a pot. On a board Q 4 Q 5 and 155k in the pot, Phu slid out 60k and Jajodia called. On the river 2, Phu checked, Jajodia bet 100k, Phu tanked then folded after using up one time bank.


Three way sends Dinh Quang Huy out in 25th place – VND 69,300,000

Three way all in with Dinh Quang Huy A 10, Pickle Rick A K, and biggest stacked Luong Van Quang A 10. The board ran 9 3 7 6 Q for a triple up to Rick and the rail for Dinh. Dinh earned VND 69,300,000 for his run, Rick climbed to 475k.


Dang Hoang Viet eliminated in 26th place – VND 69,300,000

Dang Hoang Viet put it all out front with 6 6 to battle with, however, he ran into the chip leader Ankit Jajodia’s A A. No miracle arrived on the board for Dang to exit in 26th place. He earned VND 69,300,000.


Laksh Pal Singh eliminated 27th – VND 69,300,000

Level: 21 Blinds: 5K-10K Ante: 10k

Laksh Pal Singh fell in 27th place but before doing so he lost a pot against Chien Than. On a board A 2 10 8 and 105k in the middle, Singh checked to Than who went all in, well covering Singh’s short stack. Singh folded.

Two hands later, Singh was all in with A 9 that was outdrawn by Akshay Nasa’s K Q when a King showed up on the flop and held to the end. Singh earned VND 69,300,000 for 27th place.


Pham Duy Anh bluffs Dinh Quang Huy,

On a board 2 A 2 Dinh Quang Huy bet 30k, big stacked Pham Duy Anh check-raised to 130k, Dinh tanked then folded while showing pocket Kings. Pham returned the gesture showing J 6 bluff. He scooped the pot and sits with 1M.


Nguyen Duy Thuc jams Dinh Quang Huy

Just under 200k in the pot, two players stared down a board Q 6 J 10. Dinh Quang Huy bet 80k, Nguyen Duy Thuc jammed for 230k, Dinh tank-folded. Nguyen up to 6120k.
