After Liu Yi took a little shaving off Aik Chuan’s stack, it was Mitsuru Sao’s turn to do the same. The hand started with a raise to 30k by Sano on the small blind and Chuan defending his big blind with a call.
The flop came 5♦ A♦ K♥ and no bets fell. On the 8♣ turn, Sano led for 30k and Chuan called. The river 3♠ they were back to checking and Sano won with his J♠ J♦.
Sano also won the next pot, this time against Hailong Huang. Sano raised to 21k, Chuan called, then Huang three-bet to 65k. Sano replied with a shove and won the pot with no callers.
