Michael Mariakis has been active the past few hands starting with a raise preflop and getting no callers.
However, on the next two hands, things would turn out much different. Mariakis kicked it off again by raising double from the cutoff seat but faced a three-bet by Pham on the small blind to 200K. Mariakis folded and Pham won the pot.
Immediately after, Mariakis raised again, this time to 85K, was three-bet by Tetsuya Tsuchikawa to 200K, which he flat-called. When the flop landed A♣ K♥ 5♦, Mariakis checked to Tsuchikawa who banged out 160K, good enough to take the pot as Mariakis folded.
Mariakis falls to 780K chips and Tsuchikawa increases to 930K chips.
