Razavi rails one with a dominating hand

Blinds are climbing and bets are getting bigger. At the outer table, a player shoved with 16,600 remaining and Sam Razavi called. Razavi had 10 10 up against A J for a 50/50 toss up. The board ran 9 10 9, and with that, Razavi was already guaranteed the pot. The turn was quite dramatic with the 10 landing giving Razavi quads. The river of Q was of no consequence. Razavi now at 60,000+ chips.

Enriquez goes the distance against Hasse

Kim Enriquez began with a raise to 1,500 then calling a three-bet to 4,500 by Julian Hasse. At the flop of [kc} 10 8, Enriquez checked to Hasse who continued with a 4,600 bet. Enriquez called. At the turn, Enriquez checked again, Hasse laid an even bigger bet, 10,500, and Enriquez smooth-called. Then on the river of J, both opted to check and Enriquez won with K Q top pair as Hasse mucked.


Sia defends his big blind

Level: 9 Blinds: 300-600 Ante: 75

Action began with George Chehadeh raising to 1,300 and getting a call from Eric Sia on the big blind. At the flop of Q 4 10, both checked to get a free turn of 4. Sia led out for 1,000, Chehadeh called, and the dealer dropped the river card of 10. Sia led again, this time for 8,000, and Chehadeh folded.


Falcon loses more, then eliminated

Level: 9 Blinds: 300-600 Ante: 75

After losing some big pots to players at his table, Michael Falcon continued to lose more, this time to Julian Hasse. Catching the final action on a filled board of 6 4 A 10 6, Falcon bet 12,000 and was unable to push Hasse out when he was called. Falcon folded and Hasse won the pot without a showdown.

Shortly after, Falcon was eliminated.


Falcon loses more, this time to Laaksonen

Laaksonen acted first with a bet of 7,000 and Falcon went all in putting Laaksonen’s tournament life on the line. Laaksonen called and at the showdown, Falcon had A J which was no good against Laaksonen’s 10 10. Laaksonen climbed to over 60,000.


Duong wins a nice pot against Edoc

Ha Duong battled for a pot against Lester Edoc which we caught at the flop of K A 5. Duong bet 1,650 and Edoc called. At the turn of K, Duong checked to Edoc who bet 2,200 only to be answered with a raise to 5,300. Edoc called. Then on the river, Duong bet 6,500, Edoc still called and when Duong revealed his A J two pair, Edoc mucked.


Chiu Tzu Cheng makes hero call

Level: 9 Blinds: 300-600 Ante: 75

Action began with Michael Falcon raising to 1,200 and getting three callers one of whom was Chiu Tzu Cheng. At the flop J 9 4, action checked to Cheng on the cutoff seat and was called only by Falcon in mid position. On the turn of 2, Falcon checked again, Cheng bet 5,400, and Falcon called. Then on the river, Falcon decided to scare Cheng with an 8,500 bet and Cheng called. Cheng had K Q for king high that was good enough to take down the pot against Falcon’s Q 8 missed gut shot. What a call!


Full house for George Chehadeh

Catching the action on the river, George Chehadeh and Peter Kleudgen faced a board of 7 4 K 2 7. Chehadeh bet 7,500 into a big pot already weighing in the middle. Kleudgen called and quickl mucked his hand when Chehadeh showed his K K full house.
