At the flop J♠ 9♥ 4♦, action checked to Cheng on the cutoff seat and was called only by Falcon in mid position. On the turn of 2♠, Falcon checked again, Cheng bet 5,400, and Falcon called. Then on the river, Falcon decided to scare Cheng with an 8,500 bet and Cheng called. Cheng had K♣ Q♦ for king high that was good enough to take down the pot against Falcon’s Q♠ 8♠ missed gut shot. What a call!
