Chiu Tzu Cheng had a dramatic hand before he was eliminated in 13th place. He was all in for 37K and John Beveridge called. Cheng had J♣ J♣ against Beveridge’s K♥ J♥. When the board ran Q♣ 10♦ A♣, Beveridge landed a quick straight but with the turn of K♣, both now had a straight. With the river of 9♠, they split the pot.
Not long after, Cheng was all in again along with short stack Angelo Felix. Gerald Casey called and it was a three-way show.
Cheng: 5♦ 9♦
Felix: 6♠ 6♦
Casey: A♣ 9♣
Board ran K♦ 3♥ 3♦ 8♣ 6♥ giving Felix the full house while railing Cheng in the process. Cheng leaves in 13th and collects PHP75,000 for his finish.
