At the flop of A♦ 8♣ 10♦, Huerto checked to the raiser Chen who bet 34k. Huerto called. On fourth street of Q♥, action slowed to a check as well as on the river of 9♠. Huerto won the hand with his A♣ J♦ straight against Chen’s pokcet kings.
After that win, Huerto followed it up with another win, this time against Andrew Gaw. Action kicked off with everyone except Jeremy Giam limping in while Lee Jongyeol checked on his big blind. At the flop of 3♥ A♦[qh}, Andrew Gaw checked, Ben Martin slid out 41k, Joven Huerto called, and when the others folded, Gaw called. On the turn of 9♥, Gaw opted to lead out and bet 67k. This was enough to get Martin to fold, then Huerto raised to 140k. Gaw re-raised to 227k, and Huerto quickly announced all in. Gaw folded. Both players decided to share their hole cards, both had a flush -Huerto had A♥ 4♥ and Gaw had 5♥ 6♥.
Huerto now has over 800k chips.
