Lim Yo Hwan shoves on Jae Hyun Lim, climbs to 1.9M

From the hijack seat, Jae Hyun Lim raised to 36k, cutoff Lim Yohwan three-bet to 93k, then back to Lim who called. At the flop J 4 6, Lim led for 200k, Yohwan shoved, Lim folded. Lim down to 535k, Yohwan now at a massive 1.9M.


Richard Marquez vs Masatoshi Tanaka

Richard Marquez

Richard Marquez and Masatoshi Tanaka met in a previous hand with the latter shoving on the turn and winning the pot with Marquez folding. This time, it was all in preflop for both. Tanaka with 7 7, Marquez with K Q. The board ran 8 9 Q 2 5 for a higher pair spiked by Marquez. He doubled up to 280k while Tanaka dropped to 165k.


Steffen Endres wins some off Chargualaf

Level: 19 Blinds: 6K-12K Ante: 12K

With lots of heavy action at the chip leader’s table, we’ve lost focus on the other table. Taking a glance at the hand, the board was K 8 K 4, bb Steffen Endres checked, db Joshua Chargualaf bet 110k, Endres called. On the river A, no bets came and Endres won with K 10 trips.


Double KO for Yohwan! Terence Kwang (17th) – Walken Li (18th) – PHP 169,900

And the rich get richer! Lim Yohwan is already the overwhelming chip leader here with 18 players remaining. His stack is around 1.3M with the average at 483K. He jumped to 1.6M delivering a double knockout at the table. Terence Kwang took 17th and Walken Li out 18th. Here’s how it went down…

Yuka Asaka doubles up through Feng Zhao

On a flop J 5 10, utg Feng Zhao bet 32k, hijack Yuka Asaka raised to 100k, all in by Zhao, called by Asaka. The turn 9 and river 3 completed the board and Asaka won it with A J nut flush. She soared to 700k.


Terence Kwang shoves again

Instead of preflop, Terence Kwang shoved on the turn against Hung Sheng Lin. Action began with a raise by Kwang from utg and Hung Sheng defended his big blind. At the flop J Q 6, Hung Sheng checked, Kwang c-bet 47k, Hung Sheng called. On the 10 turn, Hung Sheng checked, Kwang jammed, Hung Sheng folded.


Four-bet jam wins Oystein Nordii the pot

Joshua Chargualaf raised to 25k, Marc Rivera three-bet to 62k, Oystein Nordii shoved with over 250k, no callers. He shipped it and climbed to 400k.


No showdown between Rettenmaier and Lim

Action began with Marvin Rettenmaier raising to 26k and dpwn the orbit on the cutoff Jae Hyun Lim called. At the flop Q 6 J, Rettenmaier c-bet 31k and Lm called. At the 4 turn, both players checked and the river came 4. Rettenmaier checked, Lim bet 55k, Rettenmaier tanked then tossed in the one-chip call. Lim quickly mucked and the pot was shipped to Rettenmaier who didn’t show.


No callers for Terence Kwang

Terence Kwang may be one of the short stacks with two of the big stacks to his left, Jae Hyun Lim and Lim Yo Hwan. For the second time at the table, he shoved and won the blinds and antes with no callers.
