At table 2, utg Quoc Vu Nguyen, the lone Vietnamese in the field, raised to 11k, button Aamir Choudhry three-bet to 30k, Nguyen called. On the flop 8♣ 3♠ 6♠, Nguyen check-called 40k. On the turn 10♠, Nguyen checked, Choudhry bet 55k, Nguyen jammed, Choudhry tank-folded. Nguyen shoed 8♥. Nguyen rises to just under 500k. Choudhry down to 200k.
At table 4, cutoff Joel Chan Leong raised to 10.5k, sb Mac Mantos called, bb Ryan Jerico Platon called. On the flop J♠ 8♥ 3♦, all checked. On the turn Q♣, Platon bet 16k, Leong folded, check-called by Mantos. On the river 2♣, Platon fired 16k again, Mantos check-called then mucked upon seeing Platon’s Q♥ 5♠ top pair.
At table 3, hijack player Jae Chang raised to 10k, big blind Kang Seung Min defended. At the flop 2♣ K♣ 8♥, Chang c-bet 6k, Min check-called. On the turn J♣ and river 3♣, both checked. Chang won the pot with 8♣ 8♦ set.
