The figures are up! The Main Event pulled in 370 entries for a prize pool of Php 17,945,000 (~US$ 342,535). The top 37 will see a piece of that with the lowest payout of Php 97,000 (~US$ 1,852) and the ultimate champion banking the enviable Php 4,004,100 (~US$ 76,430) first prize.
We were unable to get a pic of the Day 1B chip leader last night. China’s Heng Li entered Day 2 ranked second overall with 153,200.
The APT held several promotions to win seats to this event. One of the promos was at online app ClubGG. For just US$ 50 per month, players had access to a long list of satellites to major events such as the APT Main Event. Out of the six that won seats, three entered. Only Filipino player Karr Yutuc advanced to Day 2. Good luck to her!

Han Se Noon
Just before registration closed we caught a couple of players get burned on the river. At table 7, on a Jack high turn board, one of the day’s entering chip leaders Han Se Noon was all in with pocket Queens and Leo Kho with pocket Jacks set. When the river came slapping down the two-outer Queen, it was the end for Kho and a surge to over 200K for Han.
At table 2, on a board 3♥ Q♥ 8♠, Aden Ang Kok Sin raised, small blind Terrence Dizon called. On the turn 6♥, Dizon checked, Aden shoved, Dizon snap called. Aden opened A♥ 5♦ nut flush draw, Dizon Q♣ Q♦ set. The river 4♥ granted the flush to the aggressor Aden to zoom to 175k while Dizon was crippled down to just 4k.
The last hour of registration is over! Another 38 entered to drive the total entries to 370 and the prize pool to a sweeter Php 17,945,000 (~US$ 342,535). From here on, it is the race to the money. The APT pays out the top 10% so 37 will get paid. We will have the payouts for you once it has been released. Another seven rounds of 60 minute blinds before bagging time. Good luck to all!
