From under the gun, Hwany Lee bumped it up to 110k and big blind Sofia Lovgren Fullmer defended. No bets landed at the flop 6 8 10 but on the turn 9, Fullmer led for 125k which Lee called. On the river 7, the board formed a straight. Fullmer moved all in and won the pot with Lee choosing to fold. Fullmer chipped up to 1.7M.

Immediately after scoring a massive double up, Hernan Villa raised to 110k then called bb Hwany Lee’s three-bet to 350k. On the flop 7 10 5, Lee bet 275k, Villa went aggro and raised to 700k, Lee tanked then shoved. Villa quickly folded.

Second hand after the break, Hernan Villa scored a massive double up against Sofia Lovgren Fullmer. The hand kicked off with Villa raising from cutoff to 120k and Fullmer defended on the big blind. At the flop 7 5 J, Villa c-bet 95, Fullmer check-called. On the turn A, Villa fired a larger 275k, and still Fullmer stuck with him. The river 2, Fullmer jammed her massive stack, Villa tanked using up three time-banks until he found the courage to risk his tournament life. It was a good call indeed with Fullmer showing K 7 pair. Villa slappeed open his A A and celebrated his massive takedown. He has now taken the lead with 3.8M while chunking down Fullmer to 1.4M.

Next all in called situation with short stacked Jacques Le Guennec from utg risking his last 60k with A 2. Big blind Jung Ho Young tanked for then made the call with Q J. When the flop ran Q 6 8, Young improved with top pair, and with the turn 8 and 10 river, it spelled the end for Le Guennec in 6th place. Despite the fall, the Frenchman’s first APT appearance earned him an impressive Php 975,000 (~US$ 17,160).

David Erquiaga again with the raise, pumping up the pot another 90k from hijack. Action moved to small blind Marc Rivera who decided this was the time to send his entire 785k out front. Erquiaga called.

Rivera needed some luck to survive but with the board running 7 A 5 Q 6, his second pair was no good against Erquiaga’s top pair. Rivera was eliminated in 7th place for Php 774,200 (~US$ 13,625). Erquiaga is now in the 3M range.
