Small blind Kan raised to 170k. Big blind Kah Boon Teh called and Ward folded. On the flop of K♣ J♦ 3♣, Kan checked to Teh who bet 350k. Seizing his chance, Kan check-raised all in for just over 500k. Teh called and this is where it got crazy. Kan had K♠ K♥ for a dominating set while Teh had A♦ K♦ for top pair. The turn of 7♦ gave Teh outs to possibly overtake Kan, and that’s exactly what happened on the river of 10♦. Teh connected with a flush and Kan was eliminated in 9th place. Kan earned $16,000 for his finish. What a sick hand!
